Mini-Cinema Friday, May 24 - Saturday, May 25; Gallagher Centre Starting on Friday, come by the Gallagher Centre and check out the festival’s unique Mini-Cinema Screenings. Take in a personalized viewing experience in one of our viewing stations, where you are able to screen any film submitted to this year’s festival upon request. Whether you want to watch a nominated film, or simply one that catches your interest, the Mini-Cinema is the place to go to see everything the festival has on offer. Free admission to all. Programmed Screenings Friday, May 24 - Saturday, May 24; Gallagher Centre Also starting Friday, is the Festival’s Programmed Screenings. These screenings offer the cinema experience, as nominated films are played out on the big screen (popcorn included!) Our Programmed Screenings also include Q&A sessions with the filmmakers, allowing you to get a behind the scenes look on the film. We also screen Golden Sheaf Award winners on Sunday morning. CMPA Festival Lounge – Presented by the Canadian Media Production Association Thursday, May 23 - Saturday, May 25; Rayzr's Pub; 10:00 AM - Midnight, All days Checkout the CMPA Festival Lounge at Rayzr's Pub: 14 2nd Avenue North, open to all delegates wishing to mingle and unwind. No cover charge. On Friday night, check out Saskatchewan band Odd Man Out. With an eclectic sampling of covers from Taylor Swift to Lady Antebellum, Odd Man Out manages to play a wide variety of music to please music fans of all types. Panels/Workshops Friday, May 24 - Saturday, May 25; Gallagher Centre The festival is also home to world-class workshops with panels that give filmmakers access to established industry professionals and helps them further hone their craft.
