- The festival hosts an annual Minister's Luncheon for festival delegates, broadcasters, industry professionals and of course, the Minister.
- Unique to the Yorkton Film Festival, we fly in Lobsters fresh from Nova Scotia for our Lobsterfest. The evening presents an important opportunity for filmmakers to discuss, network, pitch to and with Canadian broadcasters in a relaxed atmosphere. We shuttle attendees to York Lake where there is an outdoor lobster dinner along with skeet shooting, a bonfire, and of course, a once in a life time experience.
- We finish the weekend's evening events with the annual Awards Gala. This event is a very classy and professional sit down dinner and awards show.
