Thursday May 27

9.30 am - 5 pm: Students’ Day, Sacred Heart High School
Full day workshop for high school emerging filmmakers, presented by Fahrenheit Films. Facilitators Antonio Hrynchuk of Fahrenheit Films and Bruce Steele of Soundings Steele.

12 noon - 5 pm: Mini-Cinema, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
Delegates can select and screen any film entered in this year’s festival. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

1.30 pm - 4.30 pm: 15 Minutes of Fame Screening, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
15 Minutes of Fame was a popular series on SCN. Local independent and community filmmakers created shorts on topics in and about their communities. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

5.30 pm: Opening Night Screenings and Welcome Reception, Painted Hand Casino
Double feature with Rust at 5.30 pm, and Last Train Home at 7.30 pm. Reception at 7 pm.

7 pm: Student Day Film Competition Screening, Sacred Heart High School Theatre.
The public is invited to attend free of charge.

All day to closing: Festival Lounge, Razyr's Pub, 14 Second Avenue North
Open to all delegates wishing to mingle and unwind. No cover charge.

Friday May 28

8.15 am – 8.45 am:  Blast Off – Social Media at the Festival, Ramada Yorkton
Social media plus how to use it to build the buzz for your production, with Erica Hargreave.

9 am – 10.30 am: Panasonic Workshop and Presentation, Ramada Yorkton
Panasonic Canada presents and discusses the latest Panasonic video cameras and technology, including notes and news on 3D.

10 am - 5 pm: Mini-Cinema, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
The public is invited to attend free of charge.

10 am - 6 pm: Programmed Screenings, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
Nominated films will be screened at scheduled times with the filmmakers in attendance. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

10.45 am – 12 noon:  Let’s Play CanCon Convergence Roulette, Ramada Yorkton
A fun filled game show where panellists compete by trying to adapt new convergent technologies and applications to classic Canadian TV shows. Hosted by Robert Hardy.

12 noon - 1.30 pm: Minister’s Luncheon, Ramada Yorkton
With the Honorable Dustin Duncan, Minister of Tourism, Parks, Culture and Sport, Government of Saskatchewan.

2 pm – 4.30 pm: Which Way To The Future?  Ramada Yorkton
Spend an afternoon with some of the biggest names in the industry, as they try to make sense of and figure out where the rapidly changing screen based media industry is headed. Hosted by Richard Gustin.

6 pm: Networking LobsterBlast, Yorkton Wildlife Federation Clubhouse, York Lake
A prairie LobsterBlast with fresh lobster direct from the east coast. Enjoy networking, skeet shooting, horseshoe pitching and singing around the bonfire. Alternate non-shellfish meal available. Additional tickets available.

All day to closing: Festival Lounge, Razyr's Pub, 14 Second Avenue North
Open to all delegates wishing to mingle and unwind. No cover charge.

Saturday May 29

8.30 am – 9 am: Blast Off – Social Media at the Festival Part 2, Ramada Yorkton
With Erica Hargreave.

9 am - 5 pm: Programmed Screenings, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
Nominated films will be screened at scheduled times with the filmmakers in attendance. The public is invited to attend free of charge.

9.15 am – 10.15 am:  Now’s Your Chance, Ramada Yorkton.
Table-hopping group discussions with industry leaders, broadcasters and distributors.  Ask the questions you’ve always wanted answered.  Enjoy the Yorkton advantage and join industry leaders for small group discussions you have never seen or heard at bigger festivals.

10 am - 5 pm: Mini-Cinema, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
The public is invited to attend free of charge.

10.30 am - 12 noon: Oh, Oh! They Said Yes – Now What? Ramada Yorkton
You’ve finally pitched a project that a broadcaster/funder likes enough to make an offer. Join  the panel of experts as they share insights and ideas of what has to happen in order to get the proposal into a finished project. Hosted by Joanne McDonald.

11.30 am - 1.30 pm: Downtown Barbeque Lunch, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
Enjoy a hotdog and entertainment, then watch some great films. The public is invited to attend this event.

1.30 pm – 3 pm:  My Big Break, Ramada Yorkton.
Five successful Saskatchewan film and television producers discuss their first big “success” and how they found it (or how it found them).  Hosted by Bruce Steele.

5.30 pm: The Golden Sheaf Awards Gala, Gallagher Centre
Honouring the best in Canadian short film, along with a gourmet Ukrainian dinner and entertainment. MC is Bruce Steele. Additional tickets available.

10.30 pm: After Party, The Spot Nightclub & Ultralounge
Celebrate the weekend at the official Festival After Party, sponsored by Saskatoon's Hulo Films and Karma Film.

All day to closing: Festival Lounge, Razyr's Pub, 14 Second Avenue North
Open to all delegates wishing to mingle and unwind. No cover charge.

Sunday May 30

9 am - 12 noon: Screening of Winning Entries, Godfrey Dean Cultural Centre
The winning entries honoured the previous evening will be screened. Open to the public and festival participants, free of charge.
